Asking for prayers for Zak, my foster failure. Took him last week for his yearly checkup and vaccines. They took blood for testing. I got a phone call today from the Vet saying everything was good, except his platelets are low and she wants to recheck them. I took him back in and she said new tests show no change in platelets, which are VERY low. Scheduled appt for tomorrow morning at 9:20 to have a urinalysis where they remove the urine from the bladder by needle and do an ultrasound to see if there is any cancer or bladder stones, etc. She told me he is borderline low for internal bleeding and death so I have to watch him carefully overnight to ensure if it starts, to get him to emergency immediately. Please pray for him...
