Asking for prayers for my (almost) 91 year old Dad. We placed him in a nursing home in September and he had prostate surgery last month because it was obstructing urine flow and causing many UTIs which led to kidney failure a few times. He got through the surgery fine, but has not bounced back. He is not eating or drinking enough, is too weak to use his walker, is 62 and only weighs 145 now....down from 195 at the beginning of the year. Today he was admitted to the hospital because his blood work came back abnormal, even after IV fluids all day yesterday. He is in kidney failure again, so hopefully they will be able to find the underlying cause. All prayers are appreciated. Our family has been blessed to have Dad be healthy and independent until age 90, but its hard to see the dramatic changes in him the past six months.
