Aslaamualaikum wa rahmatullah.. Point out with affection , any serious deviations like grave worship, calling upon other than ALLAH, introducing practices not known to blessed Sahaba and so on ....and the answer comes? Mind your own business, I am a Hanafi and not a Wahabi .. Now ask a simple, very simple question to the brother who claims to be Hanafi ?? What is the real name of Imam Abu Hanifa alaihi rahmah.. And then follows silence, an unending silence... So, what is point in calling oneself a Hanafi , when one does not even know the name of the blessed Imam. This has been my experience scores of times while dealing with brethren claiming to be so called hanafis ; I talk about Hanfis as I myself (like majority of Muslims worldwide) have been brought up and seek guidance from ALLAH to understand and follow Hanafi fiqh because , like other schools of jurisprudence , by default , anything that does not comply with Quran and Sunnah stands rejected in Hanafi Fiqh .
