Assalamu Alaikum From a member The disease of feminism in Islam. Feminists are the first to state how oppressed the female race is and how Islam has liberated them from any sort of responsibility towards men. However, when confronted with the reality of what the Quran and Sunnah say about the role of women, they are the first to jump into a defensive tirade of abuse. 1400 years ago Islam gave women rights, during a time it was unheard of. Islam itself clearly states the importance of treating females with the utmost respect, whilst giving them whatever they deserve and require. However, in recent times the feminist movement has tried to hijack the teachings of Islam and misinterpret key ideas within the religion to support their disease infested ideology. These are the very people who proclaim the importance of Islam and its role in the freedom of women, yet they are the first to ignore the fundamental aspects of the Deen because they see them as oppressive. So the fact that the Quran and Sunnah clearly go against their agenda, they state the importance of reinterpreting the book of Allah and the Sunnah to back up their selfish and insecure ideas. It was once explained how feminism is a disease that will lead to the inevitable end of a persons marriage. May Allah save our sisters from this evil ideology. Ameen.
