Assignment of Banghabandu Safari park 21 march 2014 The evergreen forests of cox’s bazar once enriched with lofty dipterous, Boilum, Telsur, Civit, Chapalish, Champa and various climbers and medicinal plantswas endowed with enormous wildlife species like elephant, Leopard, Deer, Bear, Monkeys squirrel and various reptiles including python, Ground river turtle, Indian flap-shell turtle, Malayan box turtle, Black soft-shell turtle, Three-keeled land tortoise, Star tortoise, Pig-tailed macaque and common langer etc.There is also Veterinary hospital to serve all kinds of animals “Having caught animals is observed 21 days before keeping in cage and sick animals find out seeing it’s beast” said Compo under of this hospital Mintu dey.In middle of the forest Safari park aviary shed is about to empty but has Emu, Indian peafowl, The gate of park has been designed with Information and education center, Administration building, Model map, Plants and animals museum, Nature interpretation center, Orchids house and statue of tiger, Lion, Bear under herbivore enclosure where also had Wild beast, Zebra and hippopotamus besides Asiatic black bear, On right of forest is got elephant, Alligators, White necked-stork close to these have great White pelican, Sara Adjutant, Night heron. There is a chart of animals to the following distance from the gate of park. No Name of animals Meter 1 Wild beast 2500m 2 aviary 1600m 3 Deere 1050-1250m 4 Bears 2000m 5 Alligators 800m 6 Lions 2000m 7 Tigers 2000m Changing Climate and ever increasing population pressure and poaching resulted that the royal Bengal tiger became extinct from forests of cox’s bazar in far sixties.
