Assistant Reservation Manager This job will involves planning, organizing, leading and controlling the resources of the department to achieve the objective of the department and hotel, i.e. to achieve the maximum revenue in the most efficient and productive manner. 1. Responsible for the effective control and maintenance of room inventory to achieve maximum room occupancy and revenue. 2. Assist Room Division Manager in the preparation of forecast and reports. Forecast and reports must be timely and accurate. 3. Schedules and deploys manning effectively to ensure sufficient coverage and high productivity. 4. Supervisor and constantly monitor the performance of the staff, and to conduct periodic on job training to ensure that all staff are rained to perform the work up to the highest standard as expected of an International Hotel. 5. To maintain and develop business contacts and dispense information to the Sales & Marketing Department for follow up and action. 6. To maintain effective communication within department as well as other department through daily briefing and regular meetings. 7. To implement proper filling system for all Travel Agents and Company contract letters, and reservations correspondences. 8. To ensure that all Travel Agents and Corporate accounts are updated in the Front Office Computer system. 9. To constantly review room allotments and productions and to update Sales & Marketing Department of changes accordingly.
