At least 115 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant militants have reportedly been killed in gun battles with Iraqi Army troops in the countrys Anbar province, an Iraqi commander said on Sunday. Anbars operations chief, Rashid Falih, told reporters that ISIL attacked three Iraqi military headquarters, all located in the al-Qerame district of the province. The Iraqi troops responded as soon as the militants began to open fire. The clash swiftly turned into an all-out gun battle, killing at least 115 militants including ISIL suicide bombers.
