At lunch today, I witnessed something amazing. An older gentleman was alone at a table next to mine. The restaurant was getting crowded, and larger tables were being split up to accommodate the rush. Shortly after he sat, an elderly couple was put at the table behind him. He was quiet and kept to himself, at his lunch, paid and left. Upon him leaving, the server went up to the elderly couple and notified them that a gentleman had paid for their lunch. They asked who and she stated he had just left, but wanted to thank the man for his service. It was then I noticed the man was a veteran. Ive been inspired! And I think if it is ever possible for you to do the same, you should! Whether it be coffee, lunch, dinner, or anything, show your appreciation for those who are brave enough to put their lives on the line to keep us free!
