At the Republican Women of Wheeling Township meeting this morning. We congratulated Judge Elect Jim Pieczonka for his election to the 12th Sub-Circuit. It is the first time in ten years a Republican has won a seat in that district which used to be reliably Republican. We also heard from my good friend Rep. Tom Morrison on his impressions of the recent election and his thoughts on the upcoming veto session. I delivered the message to the club members that the IRP still needs volunteers this weekend and beyond down at 69 W. Washington Board of Elections to watch the counting of provisional ballots which are threatening Tom Cross election.
