At this years Parent of the Year awards please save some time for my acceptance speech. Tonight the girls and I were listening to Sir Mix A Lots timeless classic, “Baby Got Back“, when Caroline pointed out that there is a Explicit Label on the song. I just pointed out that was guide that parents can use to make sure their children, say ages 7,10, and 12 don’t hear anything the shouldn’t. I don’t think they got the whole meaning of the song . They just thought it was real funny someone was singing about a big butt. In my defense they really didn’t give me a rule book or anything like that when they were born.
