Atlanta, the city too busy to hate - my philosophy (no hate speak, please!) Another beautifully photographed Atlanta photo. My eyes have yet to take in all there is to see here. George Barnard was The Man (along with Matthew Brady, for another) in terms of spectacular photography of this era. I have no particular fixation on the Civil War but I have rarely seen images from this time that were so crisp and clear. To say these are merely snapshots in time doesnt do these photos justice.
