Attention AGENTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday I spoke to a Realtor that I work with in Arizona. He was so frustrated because of issues he is experiencing with Cox internet & email. He told me that in recent days Cox has block the ARMLS (Arizona Multiple Listing Service) stating it is “SPAMMING” customers. You need to check your MLS database and contact your clients who are using a Cox email address to receive your MLS emails. Cox is telling agents that if they are experiencing this problem to have your clients provide you a different email from a different email provider like Hotmail or Gmail. Also, if you are using a Cox email address linked to a residential internet account you might be labeled as a spammer if you are sending too many emails to one email address in a single day. The Realtor who told me about this issue said that he was marked as a “SPAMMER” because he sent 22 emails in one day to another agent in regards to a transaction. Cox told him he would continue to have this issue unless he changes his account to a Cox Business account. If he switches to a business account it will cost him an extra $99 a month and will slow down his internet speed.
