Audi releases limited-edition RS5 Want an Audi but fear it is too commonplace? Well don’t worry, Audi has just the car for you. The German automaker has released a new limited edition of its RS5. Dubbed the Sport edition, the car is based on a MY2015 V8-powered RS5, but has received several updates courtesy of their Exclusive customisation team. Only 75 examples will be built. Some are questioning the point of the car though. Despite being called the ‘Sport edition’, it has received no performance upgrades over the standard car. The premium buyers will pay will go to updated cosmetic bits, which include 20-inch 5-V-spke wheels, black-and-Crimson-Red Nappa leather seats, Crimson Red leather door inserts and colour-contrast stitching. The car will come painted in either Daytona Gray or Nardo Gray, but if you fancy paying even more, you can get it painted in virtually any colour from the manufacturer’s Exclusive catalog. Underneath all that new leather, one would find the same RS5 Sport that has been offered for sale for several years now, which isn’t a bad thing, for it is equipped with a 4.2-liter, 450-horsepower V8 mated to a seven-speed, S-Tronic transmission, which delivers all of the 450 bhp through all four wheels.
