Auditions for the fall one act play "Stinkbug: The Musical" will take place after school on Monday, August 26. The roles of Francine, Ethan, and Todd Flecker are all singing roles. The lead stinkbugs (Big Bob, Ruby, Manny, Sassy) should all be able to sing and should be able to dance. I will need a choreographer for this dance, like maybe Alex E. Wolfy or Gabrielaa David Guzman. Rehearsals will begin Wednesday Aug 28 and will continue twice a week until the first competition on Saturday, Oct 19. You do not have to be enrolled in drama to be on this team. I need actors as well as stage crew, set builders and lighting/sound people. If you want to be part of the VHSL Theatre team (yes, it is a real team and counts as a sport! You can go to the fall sports banquet and chill with the football players, like Ny-Jhee for example) you must be willing to travel to the VTA conference Oct 26-29. We compete there as well. There is a cost to this trip, so be aware. But do not let the cost deter you. We will work something out if need be....
