August 9th 2014 at 22:27. The moon was nearly full, making it difficult to observe relief. At the bottom of my photo in the center, you can see Mare Humorum. Between Mare Humorum and the lunar limb (on the left side), a large crater is especially noticeable because it is brighter than others, compact and whitish inside, surrounded by a network of white rays. There is the Byrgius crater. This is the only crater in this region with such a network. The Ocean of Storms is the top of my picture. --- 8-inch Sky-Watcher Newtonian Telescope. DBK21AU618.AS camera, 60 fps, 1/2500 second per image; Baader IR-Pass filter (685nm). I used 45% of the images of a 8776 frames film. Individual frames were stacked with AutoStakkert2!, Wavelets treatment with RegiStax.
