Austerity - Doesnt work says renowned economist but nobodys listening, even if the electorate in those countries hardest hit did vote for alternatives. The ramifications of the 2007 global banking calamity continues. Britians main political parties are commited to balancing the books. Our choice is clear in 2015 £95 Billion of cuts with promises of twin tax cuts by 2020 or £65 Billion in cuts and the move to a living wage and increase in the minimum wage by 2020. A heck of a lot of pain for some gain even if we have to wait 6 years for it.
