Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology New South Wales MINOR FLOOD WARNING FOR NEPEAN AND HAWKESBURY RIVERS Issued at 6:16 am EST on Thursday 27 June 2013 Flood Warning Number: 13 Spill from the Warragamba Dam peaked at 128,000 ML/day around 9pm last night (26/6/13) This peak spill combined with peak flows from the Nepean River will cause minor flooding downstream of Warragamba Dam today. Minor flooding is current at Penrith where the river peaked at 4.89 metres around 10pm last night (26/6/13). Flooding is also current around North Richmond and Windsor where a minor flood peaks are expected today. Predicted River Heights/Flows: North Richmond - Peak near 8 around 9am this morning. Windsor - Peak near 6.5 metres around 3pm this afternoon with minor flooding. Downstream of Windsor - river levels are expected to peak below minor flood level.
