The special agent in charge has an “open door” policy with any ethnic or cultural group that would like to come and discuss issues that cannot be resolved local and state level. These are just a few organizations that we have built partnerships with: The Anti-Defamation League The NAACP; The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC); The Gulen Institute; The Raindrop Turkish House; The South Asian Chamber of Commerce; and The Islamic Society of Greater Houston" Offizielle Kooperationen mit der FBI in Houston. Das Gülen-Institut arbeitet ebenfalls eng mit der University of Houston zusammen. Auf der Homepage des Institutes heisst es: "the Gülen Institute is a non-profit research organization dedicated to the promotion of peace and civic welfare". Wie Zivilnah sich die Gülen-Anhängerschaft gezeigt hat, haben wir im Rahmen des Gezi-Parks sehen können, indem Protestler beschimpft und als nationale Verräter bezeichnet wurden und immer noch werden. Allein aus diesem Grund sollte es die Regel sein sich gegen die Missionierungsversuche dieser Gruppe zu stellen. Weiter heisst es auf der Website des Institutes: "... our primary goal is to advance original academic work in the areas of Conflict Resolution, Poverty, and Education that articulates the challenges faced by global communities and theorizes possible solutions". Dass hierbei die Wissenschaft zu islamisieren versucht wird, wird nicht erwähnt, sodass die Wissenschaft in ihrem eigentlichen Sinngehalt eine eher sekundäre Rolle spielt.
