Autism Speaks- Southern California would like to Spotlight our Community Partner and Friend, Ron Burkhardt! “Ron Burkhardt, a prominent member of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s national non-profit division, has been working with Autism Speaks since January 1, 2007. Continuing to actively work with the Senior Executives and the Board to assist Autism Speaks on a national level with its facility needs, the need to raise additional funds was very clear. In 2012 he approached Matt Asner to develop a local “event” to raise funds and awareness. From that conversation the Annual Ed Asner & Friends Poker Tournament for Autism Speaks was spawned, which event has raised $40,000 in both 2013 and 2014. “This organization touches so many families on so many levels. It has become a part of everyday life for me, as many of my clients and friends have reached out to me asking for help with their autistic child, I am able to point them in the right direction.”- Ron Burkhardt Thank You Ron for all you do from your Autism Speaks Family.
