Awesome day today spending quality time with the wife. We started with a lot of target practice, Missy enjoys it a lot more now her cams are in time and she is doing awesome consistent groups! Left the kids with The grandparents and we went for a stalk in the bush, Missys first time hunting. Put up a Sambar at 30-40yards, loud honk and he slowly trotted off, stoping not far away in the thick scrub. We continued along and it was starting to get dark so decided to head back, got this rabbit for our pup on the way. And honked again at the same spot in the dark by Mr Sambar. Was fun having the wife with me, she had an arrow nocked and was ready to go but her first experience with a deer in the bush, especially a massive bodied mature stag left her frozen in astonishment haha. She got me to feel her heart beating so heavy, awesome rush for her first time. So lucky to have a wife who wants to get out there with me. Hope everyone is enjoying there long weekend.
