Awhile back I posted a picture if a Santa rosa icon...I wished a happy 100 birthday to George Shorty Faith..yesterday that special man went home to be with his wife Mary. ..they lived on fulton road ..raised kids and horses. .Shorty founded the horse club the Santa Rosa Rough Riders made up of dozens of kids ...some homeless even...he took them all under his wing and taught them all how to ride a horse. .he supplied the horse...He and I had a benefit gymkhana show to fund the Pacific cresr trail back in 1967 at the Santa Rosa fairgrounds. .Ive encluded two pictures of Shorty getting our horse ready for that show. .these pictures were taken at our place on Stoney point road ..1967..well all miss SHORTY
