***Ayefele Must Go,Occupy his Life on the below number*** This morning, I heard a thought provoking but equally hilarious news report on Radio Nigeria news at 7. It was an appraisal of the commencement of work by various committees at the ongoing National Conference. The NANS President? Mr. Yinka Gbadebo a.k.a Ayefele complained bitterly about the decision of the Conference leadership to put him as member of the Committee on Environment whereas he is the leader of all the students in the country and should be discussing issues pertaining to; education, unemployment, youths affairs and matters relevant to his position as NANS President. How can he be respected when he had sold his soul and conscience for money? This is a man whose one year tragic tenure as NANS President had legally and effectively elapse since December, 2013. But instead of stepping aside honourably and conducting the annual ceremonial NANS Convention, he is shamelessly sitting tight despite the agitations of Nigerian students and stakeholders in NANS. Given my well known laceration and strong opposition to Gbadebo even to a point that I was labelled falsely as his No. 1 enemy, I felt hesitant venturing into another media vituperations with him. In my well publicised article titled: Yinka Gbadebo-led NANS, Blood of Nigerian Students and the Ghost of Stewardship, I had described the emergence of Ayefele as NANS President as a tragic mistake of history which will haunt the student movement in Nigeria for years. I have been vindicated. Nigerian students will continue to suffer for electing a criminally minded, irresponsible, arrogant, shameless and despotic tout as NANS President. Today, I listened to the failure complain against the undermining of his position at a Conference which he is very unlikely to make significant contributions to but which will make him #12 million richer. Charlatans like Yinka Gbadebo will continue to flourish in this mess of a country until we say enough is enough. Meanwhile, ASUP strike is more than 200 days. This is Yinka Gbadebo number 08146878426 That line should be occupied especially by students. He must explain why he has not handed over and why ASUP strike is persisting.
