Aylín Merck says, Over the past few weeks I have had many braxton hicks contractions. It has been very uncomfortable and some are definitely painful. They are gettting me ready to meet our son/daughter. Contractions have made me think a lot about Rom. 8 about creations groanings and labor pains as well as ours as we await our full adoption. Thankful for this very tangible reminder of what life on this side of Eternity is like: full of contractions but each is preparing me for glory. Each loss-a contraction; pain- a contraction; death- a contraction; weakness--a contraction; temptation-a contraction; sickness-a contraction; disappointment- a contraction; unanswered prayer- a contraction. Waves of contraction after contraction, but because I am His daughter each one is preparing for me glory, glory, GLORY. Thank you, Jesus! You are worthy and worth each one!
