BANKS ARE STUPID!! I received a call today from a lawyer regarding a bankruptcy case of mine. I had filed a motion to get rid of a real estate attachment and an accompanying motion to approve a short sale the house. The lawyer represented the mortgage bank, and said the bank knew nothing about a short sale. I gave him the contact information of the lawyer from the title company which asked me to file the motion, and pointed out to him that the appraisal that I had used for the motion, came from his bank. I am always amazed at the extent to which banks do not know what they are doing. The bank hired an appraiser and hired a company to examine title and close the sale, but is unaware that it is involved in a short sale. CRAZY!!!
