State-wide Traffic Operation Compliance 2 A reminder to all that the focus of the operation that runs from 0001 to 2359 on wed the 16.7.2014 is:- Bull Bar and Vehicle Standard Offences Drive Using Mobile Phone when not Permitted Number Plate Offences These operations when run, have a Police focus on vehicles and motorists who are non compliant with specific areas of road safety legislation BROKEN HILL 1. Police have taken a report of a break, enter and steal from a Newton Street, Broken Hill address Between 230pm on tues the 8.7. and 10am on tues the 15.7. offenders have gained entry by forcing a window and once inside they have stolen items of electrical equipment such as:- 2 x tvs; a laptop computer; a camera; xbox and games Inquiries are continuing DARETON - WENTWORTH - BURONGA 1. Sometime after 5pm on mon the 14.7. a red coloured subaru impreza sedan with Vic registration was stolen from a Crane Drive, Buronga address About 845pm on the same night, Police from Dareton were alerted to a pursuit that had been taking place in Mildura with a vehicle that fitted this description Police have located the vehicle travelling towards Dareton from the direction of Merbein Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver and the passengers refused to stop The vehicle has travelled at speeds that range between 80 to 120 klms and the pursuit lasted approx 4 minutes They have travelled along School Road; Oleander Drive; Milpara Road; Fletchers Lake Road and the Silver City Hwy - all within and around the area of Dareton Police are continuing to make inquiries in relation to this matter and the vehicle is still to be recovered Anyone with any information is urged to contact their nearest Police Station, or Crimestoppers on 1800 333000
