BASENJI FOR ADOPTION - PLEASE SHARE! Tigger is a beautiful, leggy brindle Basenji but is overall not a very big build. He really enjoys being part of a family and being welcomed inside the home. He is gentle with children and responds well to both female and male owners. He is very dog social and likes going on walks and trips to the beach and fenced dog park. He can be male dog dominant at first but will be perfect with a confident, loving and patient owner. Once he trusts you he is a great, fun and affectionate fellow. Tigger doesnt like being left alone for long periods of time and will need a doggy friend for company. He will thrive with a caring owner who can help with his separation anxiety and show him some routine. He likes to be around people and in the house when his family is home. He is crate trained and travels well in the car. Ideally we would like to re-home Tigger in a home with an experienced Basenji owner and another dog companion. Very secure 6ft fencing (no wires) are a must as he is a quite a skilled climber and being a young boy, he will require plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
