The reason behind why your land being referred to as a true ‘Motherland’. If we keep emphasising the pain you went through during child birth We are only classifying you among the general class, Mama! you belong to a special class You tie us to your back for months with prestigious clothe ‘ọja aran’ That is why you are praised as Aromọlaran You practised long term Breastfeeding as a culture Even before the emphasis from the International community You breastfed us with the sweetest milk from your ọmu And you take the glory of ‘ọmuiyadun’ from time immemorial From your tongue comes a special language, embedded with dignity, Flavoured with lovely customs and decorated with morals and values. Raising up head and shoulder is widely known as a sign of pride But you taught us as a custom to bow them down as a sign of respect This makes your language stands tall as a genuine ‘Mother Tongue’. You trained us up with human feelings, we become peace lovers.
