BEREAVEMENT It is with much sadness that I advise of the passing of former Secretary/Manager Graeme Knight early yesterday evening, following an illness. Graeme served the Association for a 26 year period from 1969 - 1995, and on his retirement was awarded an Honorary Life Membership. Since his retirement Graeme had still played an active role in the Association serving as a Director for Ward 3 from 2000 to 2002 and as a regular contributor the the Ayrshire Bulletin with his Herds of Yesteryear series of articles. Graeme was the author of the Associations Centenary Book published in 2009, for which he received the Kiteroa Trophy, and had more recently written the Centenary Publication for the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Assn, which is about to be published. Graemes knowledge of the breed, Association and the national database setup was unsurpassed, and will be greatly missed. The funeral will take place in Levin, please contact Pam Goodin for details
