BETTY SAW THE BEATLES AT FESTIVAL HALL, BRISBANE. It was 1964 but the event is still vivid in Bettys mind. She springs youthfully to life as she relives that night of nights. Betty and her sister got in and got great seats that night because her father was in the industry and had contacts. She recalls wearing her best outfit with matching head band on her bobbed hair. The Beatles were in their classic stove pipe suits with ties. Their revolutionary long hair was tidy. Betty said that the atmosphere was, just incredible and she had, amazing views. She can see them clearly- gloriously young and talented and handsome. The Beatles did their best to sing their then hits to a chorus of screaming girls, including Bettys sister.
