BICYCLE SUPERHEROES...Yep, I thought there was only Bicycle Repair Man (those familiar with Monty Python will know about this fellow), but there is another unique bicycle oriented superhero named Sprocket Man (Awesome I know!). He was developed by the US government (much like Captain America), but instead of aiding the government in WW2, he was used to explain bicycle safety in pamphlets distributed in the US during the 1970s.
