BIG BIG Mistake and pure antisemitism Jewish Voice for Peace organized, publicized and aggressively disrupted passage of a resolution to commemorate the liberation of Auschwitz. As the the New York City Council voted to remember the 1.1 million killed in Auschwitz, JVP members shouted, chanted and unfurled a Palestinian flag. Its not about Israel, its about anti-Semitism and self-hatred. Its about letting your hate bury your humanity, desecrating the memory of the Holocaust victims, Jewish and non-Jewish - which has nothing to do with Israel.
