BIG SOLUTION FOR CONGRESS I for one am tired of both partys twisting words, taking things out of context, and arguing semantics. To this end and get everyone on the same page, I propose the following 1) every person who gets elected to congress to participate in a 20 hr (2hr a day x10 days) orientation to congress. Points to be covered to include a review of the jobs of the judicial, legislative, and executive branch. General ways to reach consensus and creative problem solving. Put a strong emphasis on what costitutes good ethics. 2) As a licensed professional, I jave to take continuing education classes every two year so why shouldnt congress. 3) congress wprks approximately 114-130 fays a year. They should have to keep a log accounting for how they spend their time daily. When a major nill comes up noth sides complain that they need more time to read and familarize themselves with the topic. Shouldnt they have gotten some Information or been advised on important bills before they get to the floor. I mean, do your homework !
