BRAVE HEROES THAT JUMP INTO POOLS OF DANGER...... Oops-We Made A Mistake! In the usual mad panic rush to protect our beloved Ventura community we neglected to thank a few heroes. A hearty thank you to Ventura Environmental Health. Taa-Daa (Trumpet goes here)! These kind folks are truly stewards of our community and protectors of public health and safety. Our front line of defense against toxic evils. These are probably Ventura Countys most unsung heroes and we appreciate the hard work they do. Even though we know they are well-trained and highly-skilled, when we hear about the various Ventura chemical chaos calls, we worry about them like they were our own family. These are a extra-special kind of folks. Donning HAZ MAT suits and risking exposure while assessing dangers of the chemical kind, count on these heroes to show up at the most gnarly of disasters. Forget Superman. He cant handle a little Kryptonite. These folks are the real thing. Ventura Environmental Health cleans up deadly toxins preventing cancer and disease BEFORE it gets to the doctor stage. Can we say...lol....pre-doctors? (Did we invent another word? lol...) Theirs is an occupation that saves lives. Imagine saving untold innumerable lives. Thats not a job thats pure accountability to our community. Literally, risking their lives to help us live. Thank you for your service. Imagine a sacrifice like that for a second. It takes a special person. To jump into pools of danger such as the aftermath of the Santa Paula chemical vacuum truck explosion, cleaning up 14 toxic meth labs in 6 months, assigning cleanup of rat poison spilled near a school, watchdog for body art and tattoos, medical waste and the skeleton key to unlock environmental crimes of all kinds. The good they shower on our community is breath-taking. We all need to work together to clean up messes-by not allowing these chemicals in the first place. We all need to work together to stop Venturas fracking problem, this new crazy ACIDIZATION (Oil companies made up this word-not me! lol...) toxic chemical matrix and experimental well stimulation. Together we CAN solve societies ills and make better and safer mousetraps. 1% of the worlds wind could power the planet-NASA .............so why destroy the planet with chemicals? Time for bold new science to bring green solutions (pardon the pun) to rid us of unnecessary dangerous chemicals that plague modern society with illness, misery and death. A round of applause to Venturas Environmental Health for excellence and bravery beyond belief during cleanup from the mystery chemical vacuum truck explosion. Stop Ventura Fracking awards you and the 3 firefighters who are still suffering from unknown chemicals, (we believe they were criminally lied to that the facility only handled sewage. Get well soon guys.), the absolute highest honer we can. Thank you to brave heroes that jump into pools of deadly danger.
