BREAKING: Nigerian government announces modalities for National Conference The conference would last for three months The Federal Government on Thursday announced the modalities for the proposed National Conference, saying 492 people would participate in it. The announcement was made weeks after a presidential committee set up to suggest modalities submitted its report. The committee was headed by a former senator, Femi Okurounmu. According to a statement from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Pius Anyim, the delegates are to be nominated from January30 to February 20.
