BRIAN UPDATE The rota is almost complete, with people who adore Brian: Martina and Cecilia, Pete Hammond, me/Vincent Gueu/Sophie, Laurence Souplet, Annie Bezant, and Bs brother. So there are few, repeated people so B doesnt confused. Helen and Sean are so busy dealing with other areas of Bs life I thought it would liberate them of the constraints of the uncertainty of the timetable. That way they can visit B when they want - and go to therapy if they wish to, knowing they dont have to perhaps wait for hours. Here are a few points worth repeating to everybody, not just the treatment escorts: Brian is fragile in every way and we want to protect him as much as we can. We don’t want people to turn up at the hospital to start crying and getting upset, and therefore upsetting him in turn. We just don’t want him to get upset and distressed. The main thing to remember is to be cheerful and to keep Brian happy at all times. For people planning on visiting him, it’s important that you know what’s happening so that you don’t make long trips to the hospital and be disappointed if he is not there. I am doing my best to keep you informed so please regularly read the updates. And perhaps you could think about postponing your visit until after the treatment, if you can wait to see him?
