BRITAIN EVACUATING ITS CITIZENS INCLUDING THE ONE ALLEGEDLY INFECTED WITH THE EBOLA VIRUS. Our country is effectively being isolated by the international community with little or no help to combat the Ebola epidemic. Almost all countries in the Sub-region have closed their borders to our people and almost all flights to and from Sierra Leone have been suspended. This is a big lesson for our government that they cant rely on the international community or other countries to fix our problems. The Government should always show leadership and commitment in promoting the welfare of its people by investing in healthcare and other basic need. Corruption has played a major part in putting us in our current predicament as those entrusted with the responsibility of promoting the welfare of the people were only concerned with filling up their pockets. The fact that the Britain is evacuating its citizens shows how much they value the lives of their citizens. If a government seriously cares for the welfare of its citizens it would do everything possible to make life comfortable for them. GOD HELP MAMA SIERRA LEONE!
