BUT GOD ... Reading: Genesis 39 NATS: Joseph left his clothes in the hands of the Permian-ladies and ran out (Genesis 39:12) What if Joseph had given in to the temptation of Potiphars wife? (Genesis 39). Imagine that in fact he can justify his sin. But God, you certainly do not want me unhappy, and you know how lonely I am here. Anyway, I think I really love her. What if Abram did not obey when God menyuruhmya leave Ur and go to the unknown? (Genesis 12). What if he says, But God, Ive established here. I can not take the risk to an uncertain future. I have to keep Sarai. I do not want to go. Praise God for Joseph and Abram did the right thing. Joseph fled from temptation; she ran away from sin. Abram to leave Ur; traveled with full obedience. In life, we face two kinds of choices. Sometimes the temptation arises before us. At that time, we can turn away from temptation and gain an appreciation of God-or we give up, and reap the sad consequences, then make excuses regret. Sometimes we feel God leading us in a certain direction. We can choose to follow Him and believe that He is all-knowing-or we can give reasons fetched and live in disobedience. Piety which gives abundant life is much better than the life of the grounds and despair. Let us live in such a way that we will not give in to the urge to say, But God ... -JDB GOD DEMANDS NOT ONLY SUCCESS-COMPLIANCE
