Back from our holiday camping on the banks of the Murray River, Visiting places I have memories of visiting with my Dad over 30 years ago like Gundagai, Albury, Wadonga and of course the traditional tour of Glenrowan and subsequent history lesson on The Kelly Gang. While it was awesome passing on the memories I had on holidays with my Dad from over 30 years ago to my children today it was equally as awesome creating new memories with my 2 teenage sons Corey Hill and Ryan Hill taking in new and exciting places as we toured the Great Ocean Road, The 12 Apostles, Melbourne, Wangaratta (WANG), a midnight ghost tour of an abandoned mental asylum and finishing off with a lovely breakfast followed by a nice leisurely walk through beautiful Beechworth taking in the history of the town the following morning. It was a great holiday and I enjoyed visiting all these places but without a shadow of a doubt the most enjoyable part of the vacation was being able to spend a week of quality time and conversations with my 17 and 15 year old sons, reliving past memories, creating new ones and all the while getting to know each other even better than we already did. THANKS FOR AN AWESOME TIME BOYS, HAD SO MUCH FUN, LAUGHED SO LOUD AND OFTEN MY SIDES ARE STILL SORE AND CANT BELIEVE THE THINGS WE TALKED ABOUT LOL :-) LOVE YOU BOTH TO THE MOON AND BACK XOXOXO
