Back home after a fantastic week at the van!! We were so lucky with the weather is was a brilliant week I dont think any of us including the dogs have ever been so sad to come home lol we were just having such a good time! We also got a great head start on the xmas shopping! Yes I know its early but once we close it down we dont get to Inverness or Elgin much over the winter and a few years ago got caught out by a bad winter and couldnt get out at all so now we are always organised! I think 10 years of selling toys doesnt help you always got so many last minute disappointed parents it just makes you shop early!!! I did squeeze in a very quick trip to the DH shop I only had 15 minutes which is just as well as I really didnt want to spend too much! Just got a few things for the hotel including a sack truck which will be a luggage cart and a hoover for the chambermaid. The red steps are so cool they were my wow item and have tiny little rubber feet! I also persuaded Lindsay to let me check the Triang was ok so I can leave feedback. I just had a quick look and managed a few photos before it was promptly packed away again! Its in very nice condition! The only thing really is slight damage to one one trim which was disguised with a bit of wood but its an easy enough repair. Also the roof needs a bit of a tidying otherwise its pretty good! A couple of stains on the paper but when its over 60 years old its just nice to have the original ones present, so really their condition is very good! Its so big compared to my others it will take loads of furniture!! Roll on December 25th!!
