Back home from Winthrop Blues Festival. It has been an amazing journey, with the Fires going on in Central Washington, its the folks in these pictures that made it and not just listened to music, but donated their time and their funds to those who have lost their homes and belongings. I couldnt have been happier to be a part of this community of festival goers and seeing their commitment to helping others. Erika Olsen, Peter Dammann, Jimmy Smith, Fire Marshall, radio station personnel, all of Winthrop Association..THANK YOU! You ensured our safety, and hung in there through what was not always easy criticism of your efforts. There is still work to do...please pray for those firefighters that will be returning to the hot zones, and those folks still going through. Blessings, I wouldnt have missed it!
