Back in the desert again and plan to stay put for a while. Missed the tremendous rainstorm they had here yesterday but witnessing some of the damage. Barrie is out front now shoveling dirt back into our yard--pool is full to overflowing and had some leakage in the house--around one of the skylights and some in the garage. Dirt and palm fronds everywhere in the yard!! It must have started right after we left yesterday--had it heavy at the cottage but nothing like down here.
