Back with a poem after a short stay at the hospital August Poem The Thrill of Weightlessness Under a controlled experiment, in a safe chamber, I would love to experience the thrills of weightlessness, my body free in the limited space, moving in all directions in slow motion, like a bird flying in the sky. Hundreds of kilometers up above the clouds in what is known as outer space is where astronauts do their work. Enclosed in heavy spacesuits, they loom in the immense sky, safety rails their last defense before becoming lost in space. As the sun reflects on the white of their shells against the blue sky, and high clouds with billowing puffs drift nearby, upon reflection, although still taken by the splendor of adventure, my desire to experience weightlessness has suddenly evaporated out of my heart.
