Backing vocals and bottom-end were tracked on Wednesday for the song with major 2nd harmonies. Doodling on the back of an envelope indicated that, over the last three weeks, on average, the real vocalists have required between 2.718 (the exponential function e) & a logarithm (10 times) fewer takes than the unreal vocalists. If only Napier and Euler had hung out with us - who knows where maths would now be; mind you, the daunting ascent via Cirith Ungol (and the ladder of uncertain robustness)into the studio may have tested their delicate pre-20th Century dispositions to the limit.
