Ban Carnivore Killing Contests in Sanders County, Montana ida.convio.net/site/Advocacy… Sign Our One Click Letter! Like an aggressive cancer, wildlife killing contests are spreading across the nation. These deplorable wildlife-slaughter events usually occur on publicly-owned land, administered either by the U. S. Forest Service (FS) or the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and are sponsored by pro-hunting and pro-trapping groups, which are driven by hate and disdain for carnivores and other wildlife. Such is the case in Trout Creek, Montana, where currently three groups are organizing the 1st Annual Sanders County Great Montana Coyote and Wolf Hunt in which contestants will try to kill as many wolves and coyotes as possible via hunting and trapping, and win prizes after weighing and measuring their killed animal victims. Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife, Idaho for Wildlife and the Montana Trappers Association, and a Facebook advocacy page called Montana Wolf Hunting and Trapping are planning this horrific event for January 16-18, 2015 outside of Trout Creek in Sanders County.
