Barbara update; First, let me express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have responded to my posts. It is an incredible feeling of warmth and affection to know that there are so many friends, acquaintances and just very nice folks who have taken the time to provide words of comfort and support. I have shown Barbara most of them and it lightens her day. We will continue to live as normally as we can. Our days are currently being controlled be Alacare who provides physical, occupational and speech therapy throughout the week. (The PT will be here around 10:30 this morning). They also send in a nurse at least once a week. Barbara is able to navigate the stairs at least once each way a day. By having her come downstairs it enables her to eat meals at the table and have a reasonably normal day. I intend to continue our practice of having Pat and Dawn (and the kids, when theyre home) over for dinner on Wednesday nights. We are going to keep going as long as we can and as normally as possible. With the wheelchair in the car, Im able to get her to Theatre Huntsville, Fantasy Playhouse and BTL shows (we have handicap seats at all venues). Again, many, many thanks for all of your love and support. We will just keep on keeping on!
