Barbershop saga - part 2 As I continue to look for a barber in Terre Haute, I wandered into another random barber shop - Jims Barbershop. There I met the barber (I assume his name is Jim), an elderly and very nice gentleman. I gave instructions on how long (short) to cut my hair and he began. It was immediately obvious that Jims hands were not as steady as they used to be as the clippers hovered at varying heights above my head. But I sat there, held my breath and let him cut away. When mostly done, he comments, I hope you like it, at least with a haircut it will always grow back. Hmmm, not very encouraging. However, it seemed to have come out well, but we were not quite done. I need to shave the back of your neck, would you like me to use the clippers or shave it with a blade? I opted for the clippers.
