Barnsley Sea Cadets (with the exception or the Royal Marine Cadets - see below) is now officially up to full strength by way of cadet numbers. Therefore their will be no further recruitment of Blue Jackets until further notice. This said, it is already anticipated that some cadets will be leaving over the forthcoming 6 months due to being recruited into the Armed Forces or ageing out (18) etc. However, if you or your child is keen to join The Sea Cadets it is worth considering applying to neighbouring units, or alternatively your name can be added to a waiting list here at Barnsley. If this is the case, please email [email protected] Vacancies still exist for recruitment into the Royal Marine Cadet Detachment (RMCD).
