Baseball is right around the corner and it will require learning new names on each team because of all the movement that happens every winter. I am going to toss out a few names that were Rangers in the last few years of Success that the team has experienced. These guys are all gone now, but was just thinking that I could field a contender if all were on the same team. Mike Napoli-Red Sox, A J Pierszynski-Red Sox, Koji Uehara-Red Sox, Chris Davis-Orioles, Nelson Cruz-Orioles, Tommy Hunter-Orioles, Darren ODay-Orioles, David Murphy-Indians, Ian Kinsler-Tigers, Joe Nathan-Tigers, Josh Hamilton-Angels, C J Wilson-Angels, Mike Adams-Phillies, Joaquin Benoit-Padres, Gerald Laird-Braves, Michael Young-retired...and then from another couple years back, John Danks-White Sox and R A Dickey-Blue Jays. Most all these guys were let go when and after Nolan Ryan lost his power with the club. I will not cease being a Texas Ranger fan, but looking at these names causes me to reflect on whether or not it was foolish to let them all go....Only 2 position player left, Beltre and Andrus plus part-timers, Martin, Profar, Moreland and Soto.
