Be sure to MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! We are gearing up for the 2013 Thunderfest Car Show hosted by The CCARC Foundation & Sol Stewart. The event will be November 15-16, 2013. You will not want to miss this! Friday night will be a Dinner with the Legends at the Community House at 7pm. Tickets are $35. Racing legends Randy Payne and Hubert Platt will be the speakers. Stop by to pick up your ticket before they are all gone!! Saturday the cars start rolling in! The Thunderfest Car Show will take place at the Fairgrounds in Jackson. Gates open at 8am. Admission is $5 (Children under 12 FREE). The Car Show will feature Nostalgia Drag Racing cars, all with very interesting racing histories. Coach Ivan Jones will be the Grand Marshall for the Car Show. The Cacklefest will take place at 11am, and the Awards Ceremony will be at 1pm. Hubert Platt and Randy Payne will also be at the show for pictures and autographs. Automotive Vendor Spots and Sponsorships are available. Please contact Kim (251-246-3000).
