Been on and off the phone with Kayla today. She was still running a fever this morning, and her blood pressure was very low. Np early this morning was 69/44. They gave her a bowlus of fluids as she was very dry. They have continued fluids all day, added pain ,meds and supposed to be getting her a topical cream for her bottom. Chemo sores are awful! I was talking to her Mom and Kayla started screaming and crying it hurts please make it stop. At one point she told her momma.....I just wanna die. Of course she was told that was not going to happen. I dont know what pain she experiencing, but know that child has been the pain on a daily basis for 8 months. Never ever has she said this before. :( Heartbreaking to say the least. Please prayer hard for her.. They ran test today to see if the chemo sore was abscsed but the scope only made matters worse and since Tuesday they have been asking for medication for it, and still thirty minutes ago...Childrens mercy still had no nothing for her. Thats upsetting to me, and her Momma. Im making a special trip there tomorrow, and Kayla asked for a subway sandwich. I asked what kind?? She replied meat, mayo, mustard and lots of banana peppers. Lol Ill be calling her when I get subway. Other then the chemo sores and fever, shes doing good. Ready to come home, but informed me that she was not gonna make it home this weekend, and she has appointments, scans and test first of the week next week. I must tell youre appreciate each and every one of you. You are part of our world, and hearts. A part of Kayla life and her journey. I believe that because of all the prayers you send up, that little girl is as far as she is. We are forever grateful for each of you. Thank you again! Goodnight and God Bless!
